Through the consistent application of ultra-lightweight construction was created in the research project, InEco® at the Institute for lightweight engineering and polymer technology (ILK) of the Technical University of Dresden, a sporty electric vehicle for the city. Innovative CFRP-steel hybrid construction, an intelligent Package design and an optimized electric drive train to allow a total vehicle weight of only 900 kilograms. The battery, including optimized air conditioning, has been integrated with crash-safe in the Central tunnel of the vehicle floor.
Sporty and economical
Designed for commuters and short-haul drivers, the 4-seater research vehicle, sporty driving pleasure with environmental compatibility and economical methods of construction associations. With a maximum speed of 160 km/h (electronically limited) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds is the vehicle of the benefits of conventional compact cars.
