Eucalyptus-M No. 24 Lozenges
Pharmacological propertiesEucalyptus oil contains essential oil-cineole, tannins, organic acids, bitterness, aldehydes (isovalerian, cumin and caprylic), flavonoids.
Eucalyptus oil has antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, wound healing, expectorant action.
Menthol has a local antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory effect. Menthol causes irritation of nerve endings, has a local distracting and mild analgesic effect, causes a feeling of coolness at the site of application of the drug.
The analgesic effect of the drug occurs 15-30 minutes after administration.
Indications for useInflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract and pharynx (pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis) as part of complex therapy.
Mode of applicationPastilles should be absorbed in the mouth, without chewing. The drug should be taken between meals.
Adults: 1 pastilka 3-4 times a day.
Children from 8 years: 1-2 lozenges per day.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days.
