pharmachologic effect

Tinidazole- antiprotozoal drug with antibacterial action. The mechanism of action is due to inhibition of synthesis and damage to the DNA structure of pathogens.
Active against Trichomonas vaginalis, Entamoeba histolytica, Lamblia intestinalis. It has a bactericidal effect against the following aerobic bacteria: Bacteroides spp. (including Bacteroides fragilis, Bacteroides melaninogenicus), Clostridium spp., Eubacterium spp., Fusobacterium spp., Peptococcus spp., Peptostreptococcus spp., Veillonella spp.

- infections caused by anaerobic bacteria;
- mixed aerobic-anaerobic infections (in combination with antibiotics);

Mode of application
