Indications for use:
Dermatitis, including diaper dermatitis (treatment and prevention), diaper rash, prickly heat; superficial wounds and burns (including sunburn, cuts, scratches), ulcerative lesions of the skin (including trophic ulcers), bedsores; eczema in the acute stage, herpes simplex, streptoderma.
Anti-inflammatory agent for external use, has an antiseptic, astringent and drying effect.
When used in children, it helps prevent the appearance of diaper rash, protects against the action of urine and other irritating substances, and softens irritated skin.
Reduces exudation and oozing, which removes the local phenomena of inflammation and irritation.
Symptomatic and protective effect of the drug is determined by zinc oxide. Zinc oxide in combination with a petroleum jelly base creates a physical barrier, forming a protective coating on the skin that reduces the effects of irritants on the affected area and prevents the appearance of a rash.
When applied externally, zinc ointment is practically not adsorbed into the systemic circulation and does not exhibit resorptive action.
Allergic reactions: itching, hyperemia, skin rash are possible.
Method of preparation or use:

Treatment: Wash and dry the affected area before use. When the first signs of redness, diaper rash or slight irritation of the skin appear, ointment is applied 3 or more times a day, as necessary, usually with any change of diapers (diapers).
Prevention: applied to the skin covered with a diaper or diapers, before the onset of signs of irritation, especially before bedtime, when the child can be in wet diapers for a long time.
Cuts, scratches and burns. Apply a thin layer, if necessary, impose a gauze bandage. Only inflicted on superficial and uninfected lesions.
